Our Services/Fees

Like the song says, "the knee bone's connected to the thigh bone", and so are financial issues connected to each other. Good financial planning must be comprehensive, that is, must encompass all aspects of one's financial life. For example, how do you do retirement planning until you know what your spending needs are now? Or, how do you know where to invest until you know what your goals for the investments are? Do you need current income (and then we ask, what's your marginal tax rate)? Will you need a sum of money in 3 years, 10 years, 20 years? The answers to these questions will necessitate different investment strategies

Some of the services that we provide at PFP are:
  • Record keeping. Quicken or a manual system.

  • Cash management.

  • Tax planning and preparation.

  • Insurance review and recommendations.

  • Strategies on buying a home.

  • Mortgage review.

  • Saving for education.

  • Retirement planning.

  • Asset allocation strategy.

  • Investment management.

  • Estate planning.

As stated previously, we are a fee-only practice. We have two fee structures that we use. The one that fits most people is the Annual Retainer Fee. This is figured on the complexity of work required and allows clients unlimited meetings, phone calls, emails with PFP so that all questions are answered, all issues resolved as they come up.

The second fee structure is for people who are just starting out on their financial journey and want to make sure that they are on the right paths. We call this a Financial Checkup and it entails a 2 hour meeting to discuss the issues that the the client feels are important.

Please give us a call at 401-421-1777 or send us an email at prestonfinancial@richmondsq.com to discuss your financial concerns and to set up a complimentary introductory meeting if that is what you would like to do.
